Effective date: July 17, 2026Last updated: July 17, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using SkinnerupBooks.com (the "website"), you agree to these Website Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the website.
2. Website Purpose
The website provides general information about Christina Skinnerup's virtual bookkeeping services and a way to request a consultation. Content is provided for general information only and does not constitute tax, legal, accounting, investment, or other professional advice.
3. No Client or Professional Relationship
Using the website, submitting a form, booking a Clarity Call, or exchanging email with Christina Skinnerup does not by itself create a client, professional, or fiduciary relationship. No such relationship exists until a written engagement is signed.
4. Written Agreement Required
A service relationship begins only after Christina Skinnerup and the client agree in writing to a specific scope of work, fees, and other terms in a signed engagement letter or services agreement.
5. Bookkeeping Scope and Exclusions
Christina Skinnerup provides virtual bookkeeping services. Services do not include:
- Tax preparation, tax advice, or tax filing;
- Legal advice or the practice of law;
- Investment advice or financial planning;
- Payroll processing;
- Audit, attest, or CPA services;
- Authority to move, transfer, or hold client funds.
Christina Skinnerup is not a CPA, attorney, tax preparer, or financial advisor. Clients are responsible for obtaining tax, legal, and other professional advice from appropriately licensed professionals.
6. QuickBooks Online Requirement
Christina Skinnerup's bookkeeping services require the client to maintain an active QuickBooks Online subscription in the client's name. QuickBooks Online fees are billed by Intuit and are separate from bookkeeping fees.
7. Website Pricing
Any prices or pricing ranges displayed on the website are illustrative and nonbinding. Actual fees are determined during the engagement process, based on scope and complexity, and are stated in the signed engagement.
8. Information Submission Restrictions
Do not submit highly sensitive financial information — such as bank account numbers, full credit card numbers, tax identification numbers, or payroll data — through public website forms. Christina Skinnerup may accept or decline any submission, engagement request, or prospective client relationship at her discretion.
9. Account Security
If you create a client login, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify Christina Skinnerup promptly of any suspected unauthorized use.
10. Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for providing complete, accurate, and timely information; maintaining source documents and backups; approving classifications and reconciliations as requested; and complying with applicable laws and filing obligations.
11. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the website in violation of any applicable law;
- Attempt to interfere with the website's security or availability;
- Access accounts, data, or systems you are not authorized to access;
